Overview

Idle Party Dungeon is developed and published by BroglioGames. This policy explains how the game handles information.

Information handled by the game

The game stores gameplay progress, settings, and any custom names you give your heroes locally on your device. Gameplay progress and custom hero names are kept in an encrypted save file; some preferences, such as audio settings, are kept in a separate local settings file. Gameplay data includes features such as heroes and their titles, inventory, crafting, dungeons, raids, Tower and Echo activity, pets, mail, shop state, notification state, premium entitlements, and one-way hashes used to prevent duplicate purchase fulfillment. A randomly generated save profile identifier and a shortened one-way hash derived from the device identifier are included in save metadata to identify save versions and prevent save conflicts. They are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Starting with version 1.48, Google Play Games Saved Games is the only automatic cloud backup of progress. The game does not upload gameplay saves, inventory or ordinary currency balances to the BroglioGames server. The local file and Google Saved Games copy use the game's encrypted save envelope. Until the announced server retirement is completed, older supported versions may still have structured gameplay saves in the restricted legacy server database. Retirement deletes that server-only progress directly; it does not copy it to Google or create a support recovery archive. A local or Google save is required to retain progress through the transition.

On Android, including the Android App Bundle delivered through Google Play Games on PC, Google Play Games Services may handle your Play Games player identifier, profile and display name, achievement progress, leaderboard scores, and a private Saved Games snapshot containing the gameplay data described above. Google handles platform authentication and cloud storage; Idle Party Dungeon does not receive or store your Google password. Android Auto Backup is disabled for the game save so that it does not create a second cloud copy with different conflict rules.

When online game features are configured, the game sends a short-lived Google server authorization code to the Idle Party Dungeon game server. The server verifies the player with Google and stores a one-way pseudonymous player identifier, display name, hashed session credentials, reward-code definitions and redemptions, permanent-pack entitlements and immutable delivery events, purchase verification and acknowledgement state, refund or revocation state, Gem debt associated with a refunded permanent pack, and security/audit events. The server does not store the raw Google Play player identifier, Google access token, Google password, or the text of a redeemed reward code. A Google Play purchase token is sent to the server for permanent packs so it can be verified and acknowledged; it is kept encrypted only while a verification or acknowledgement retry needs it, after which only a one-way hash is retained. Consumable Gem packs and the ordinary Gem wallet remain in the encrypted local/Play Games save rather than the game server.

BroglioGames and its game-server hosting provider may process IP addresses, request timestamps, request and response status, device or app version information, and technical diagnostics needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of online features. An IP address can be used to infer approximate location. This information is not used by BroglioGames for advertising or cross-app tracking.

When valid device and cloud histories diverge, the game first follows a verified descendant history. For a true divergence it automatically continues the history with the higher save revision, using its save time when revisions are equal and keeping the device copy on an exact tie. It chooses one complete wallet and inventory rather than adding the two copies. Before replacing the other history, the game retains a verified encrypted recovery copy. Incompatible saves, account mismatches, and failed safety checks are not resolved automatically.

After the first completed weapon craft on a supported Android device, Google Play may present its native in-app review card. Any optional star rating or review text you submit is sent directly to and processed by Google Play for the store listing. Idle Party Dungeon cannot read the rating or review text and cannot determine whether the card was displayed or whether you submitted it.

On Android, Save Recovery can export an encrypted copy of the local save to a document location you choose through the system file picker, and can import a backup file that you explicitly select. These files are transferred only between the game and the location you choose; they are not automatically sent to BroglioGames, Google Play Games, Discord, or another third party. Anyone who can access an exported backup file may retain, copy, or delete it, so store it in a location you control.

The Android version uses Google AdMob to provide optional rewarded advertisements. Starting with version 1.49, the game does not ask for or store a date of birth. The earlier 1.48 builds 82–85 used a date-of-birth screen and disabled advertisements and advertising-consent prompts for players aged 13–17 or whose age was unknown. For players who choose to watch an available ad, Google and its advertising partners may process device information, advertising identifiers where available, IP address and approximate location inferred from it, ad interactions, diagnostics, and consent choices to deliver, measure, prevent fraud in, and where permitted personalize advertisements. The game requests applicable advertising consent before requesting ads.

In-app purchases, including Gem packs, Premium Packs, pet packs, and cosmetic packs, are processed by Google Play Billing. Google processes payment details, purchase history, tax, fraud-prevention data, and receipts. Idle Party Dungeon receives the product identifier, purchase status, and purchase token needed to verify, unlock, and restore the purchase; it does not receive your full card or bank details.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the game, save and restore progress locally and through Play Games Saved Games, authenticate players, control and fulfill reward codes, provide achievements and leaderboards, request Google Play's optional in-app review flow, show optional rewarded ads, prevent abuse, advertising fraud and payment fraud, and verify, fulfill, restore, revoke, or refund permanent-pack purchases. BroglioGames does not sell personal information.

Google processes Play Games, Play Store ratings and reviews, AdMob, consent, and Google Play Billing information under Google's Privacy Policy. Advertising partners participating in an AdMob request may also process information according to the consent choices and Google's publisher controls.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you use Settings > Play Games > Delete Data, clear the app's data, or uninstall it. After explicit confirmation, Delete Data always removes the local save, backup and recovery copies, local audio settings, and cloud-sync metadata. When the game is connected to a verified Play Games profile, the same confirmation also deletes the game's private Play Games Saved Games snapshot. When the game also has an authenticated game-server session, it deletes that player's live server account and account-linked sessions, reward-code redemption records, permanent-pack entitlement sources, delivery events, and any legacy account-linked save or economy data still present before server retirement. The retired save and economy tables do not exist after that retirement. Pending purchase tokens are erased and retained purchase-verification rows are detached from the deleted account; one-way token and ownership hashes, provider state and financial/audit facts may remain where needed to prevent replay, process refunds or chargebacks, and meet legal obligations. Operational audit events may be retained without the deleted player's identifier, and aggregate statistics or reward redemption counts that no longer identify the player may remain.

BroglioGames does not retain a disconnected legacy progress database or create a manual progress archive for this retirement. Render, the server hosting provider, maintains technical database backups for disaster recovery. The configured point-in-time recovery window is three days: deleted server data can remain in that rolling recovery history until the window expires. No logical database exports are currently retained for this retirement. Any existing Render logical export would follow the provider's seven-day retention from creation; no new export of retired progress is created. These technical backups are not player save storage or an in-game recovery service, and an in-game deletion request cannot edit an existing backup. Commercial receipts and security evidence remain subject to the purchase, fraud-prevention and legal purposes described above. See Render's backup documentation.

While Play Games or the game server is signed out or unavailable, the confirmation identifies the narrower available scope; inaccessible remote data is not deleted. Uninstalling the game or clearing only the app's local storage does not itself delete remote Play Games or game-server data. Delete Data cannot delete backup files that you previously exported through the Android system file picker; you manage those files in the document location you selected. It does not delete the Google Account, Play Games profile, achievements, leaderboard entries, a submitted Play Store rating or review, advertising consent records, or Google Play purchase records; those are retained under Google's policies and managed through Google's account and privacy controls. A non-consumable purchase can be restored from the Google Play account that bought it. Content posted on Discord is retained and can be managed under Discord's policies and account controls.

Children

Idle Party Dungeon is intended for players aged 13 and older. Starting with version 1.49, the game does not collect a date of birth or apply an in-app age gate. The earlier 1.48 builds 82–85 used a date-of-birth screen to prevent entry under 13 and disabled advertisements and advertising-consent prompts for players aged 13–17. Google services remain subject to the user's Google Account and Google's age and supervision rules. Because the game does not determine age, all advertising requests use Google's protective child-directed treatment and a maximum ad-content rating of G. Advertising remains optional; choosing a rewarded ad does not require an in-app age check. Google UMP remains integrated with under-age-of-consent treatment. Under that protective treatment Google may omit the ordinary consent form; privacy options follow the requirements returned by Google's SDK. The app does not classify an unknown-age player as an adult for advertising.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect locally stored game data. Play Games, advertising, consent, and payment communications are handled by Google's SDKs. Public game-server traffic is intended to use encrypted HTTPS transport; sensitive credentials and reward-code lookups are stored as keyed or one-way hashes where practical. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the game's features or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
